We collect old Navaho turquoise designs. The old designs are particularly special to us. This Navaho cuff dates back decades. This is a solid, high quality cuff with three marks, an etched "9", the name "S Tolith" and a stamp of "Sterling". The silver work is very good including the hand stamping and the silversmith made a good choice in the selection of a turquoise stone as well. This bracelet has excellent weight-for-size at 40.2 grams. This piece is solid, there's no bending or "sizing". The stone itself measures about 1/2 by 15/16 of an inch. The flat inside of the wristband measures about 3/8 of an inch.The wrist circumference is 7 inches including the gap. The gap itself measures 1 and 1/8 inches. Gorgeous Ammolite bezel set pendant in solid sterling silver and surrounded with pave set white topaz. Photo has no filters, or enhancements, actual photo. Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains of North America. It is made of the fossilized shells of ammonites, which in turn are composed primarily of aragonite, the same mineral contained in nacre, with a microstructure inherited from the shell. It is one of few biogenic gemstones; others include amber and pearl. In 1981, ammolite was given official gemstone status by the World Jewellery Confederation, the same year commercial mining of ammolite began.
